Ginome was founded in late 2022 and is owned by Rui Teixeira the Director of Pegasus Spirits, a UK drinks distributor. They works with Pleasant Land Distilling to distil and bottle the gin.

Ginome is made at Pleasant Land Distillery, a contract distilling specialist whose distillery is 100% run with solar energy, and an ambition to be carbon negative by the end of 2023.
