Aromas of earthy chocolate, peanut butter and tea, balanced by ripe apricots, cinnamon and allspice. To taste, sweet vanilla and cherry fruit backed by honeysuckle. Finishes with peanut butter, leather and peppery rye.
Process
The blend is made in Collaboration with Sonoma Distilling Company. They use their London Rye® Whisky aged in a variety of casks, inc Virgin French Oak, STR and ex-Bourbon barrels along with a unique blend of Sonoma Bourbons.
People
East London Liquor Company was founded by distiller Alex Wolport back in 2012. He has always had his feet planted firmly in the East of the capital, working in Hoxton and Angel and managing operations in the hospitality industry.
Place
East London Liquor Company is based in a pub on the site of an old glue factory in Bow Wharf, near Victoria Park, London. It’s a truly stunning distillery that's become a destination venue with a handsome bar and a great kitchen.
