Process
Juniper is slowly macerated with fresh rosehips, wheat spirit and soft Scottish water. Once distilled, it is bottled at still strength to deliver an intense flavour profile.
People
Having already dabbled in the drinks industry by creating a vodka, Crossbill Gin was founded by architect Jonathan Engels and his business partners in 2014 in Inshriach Distillery near Aviemore.
Place
Named after the Scottish bird, Crossbill was initially distilled in Aviemore, the distillery relocated to the legendary Barras in Glasgow’s East End. They are best known for their dedication to using 100% Scottish botanicals.
