Thelema's magnificent Cabernet Sauvignon has a complex nose of mint, blackcurrant and chocolate, and the palate has juicy ripeness balanced by freshness and structure. There is a subtle layer of toasty oak in the background, complementing the black cherry and blackcurrant fruit character, and refined, silky, mid-palate tannin. The finish is superbly long, pure, balanced and elegant.

Winemaking
Harvest was carried out by hand.The bunches were de-stalked and the berries hand sorted before crushing and fermenting in stainless steel tanks. Pump overs were performed for 6 days before a further maceration of 5 days. After pressing, the wine was then racked to 50% new French oak barrels for malo-lactic fermentation and 20 months ageing.

97/100 - Beautifully seductive perfume of violets, black currants and black cherry kirsch liquor. Super polished marble tannins, tight knit, fine grained and simply delicious. Well integrated acids lend extra frame and linearity before a tart, vibrant, tangy black berry laden finish. Simply benchmark!
