Glenmorangie
In 1738 a brewery was built on Morangie Farm in the Scottish Highlands. A century later the land was bought by William Matheson who purchased two second hand stills and converted the brewery into a distillery and renamed the site Glenmorangie.
Glenmorangie means ‘valley of tranquillity’ in Scots Gaelic. They are best known for their magnificent copper stills - the tallest in Scotland, which with necks as tall as a giraffe, create a truly delicate spirit. Toady the whisky production is led by Dr. Bill Lumsden, one of the huge names in the industry, and the range is one that’s ideal for introducing Scotch to newcomers as it offers accessible flavours and immaculate quality in every drop.
