Courvoisier
The Courvoisier story started in Paris in the early 1800s with founders, Louis Gallois and Emmanuel Courvoisier. Based in Bercy, the business flourished and won medals, as well as the respect of Emperor Napoleon III himself, who picked Courvoisier as his only official Cognac supplier.
Courvoisier is produced in now Jarnac in the Charente region of France. Terroir is everything in Cognac production and as one of the category’s "big 4", they tend to be able to pick their Ugni Blanc grapes from the best locations. At the more affordable end of their range, they showcase great value for money, while some of their more expensive items are equally known to be some of the most exquisite in Cognac.
