Arbikie
Brothers Iain, John and David Stirling grew up on the family farm in Arbikie, Scotland, and after years in the drinks trade, ventured home to set up a distillery. The recruited hotshot distiller Kirsty Black fresh out of Heriot-Watt and set to work quickly. Arbikie Distillery was home to a distillery in the 1700s, so the team sought to embody the ways in which people worked back then using local ingredients. Love of the land also led to them creating the world’s first carbon negative gin. Impressive!
