Visiting Ridgeview

Our very own Jo Thomas traveled down to Sussex to take the Ridgeview tour and find out more about the award winning English sparkling wine. See her day in pictures below and find out how to visit Ridgeview.

A Beautiful Day, at the foot of the South Downs...

I got to sample some of the best of wine produced here in England. The welcome at Ridgeview was charming and enthusiastic from everybody - Simon, Dan & Mardi. The vineyard is as immaculate as any in Burgundy. The winery was full of up-to-the-moment technical kit and the cellar modern and perfect.

After the tour, it was onto the sampling the whole range in Ridgeview's tasting room which had an unmatchable, stunning view.

The range of wines sampled were drinking perfectly from the award wining 2010 Grosvenor to the 'limited edition' Victoria made for the Jubilee. These English wines really are stunning and have a very good story to tell... I even got to witness the latest batch of Bloomsbury being 'de-gorged' - ideal for WSET Diploma involvement!
