Fancy trying out this popcorn recipe yourself?
4 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic – minced
1 teaspoon rosemary
3 tablespoons oil
1/3 cup popcorn
½ cup grated Parmesan
Salt to taste
In a small pan, melt the butter on a low-medium heat, stirring in the garlic and rosemary. Cook for a couple of minutes until the garlic is lightly browned. Remove pan and set aside.
To pop the popcorn, heat the oil in a medium frying pan on a medium-high heat and once the pan has heated up, pour the popcorn in to an even layer on the base of the pan. (You can test this if you want by throwing just a couple of kernels in to see if they pop).
Cover the pan with a lid, and remove from the heat for about 30 seconds. Return it to the heat and gently shake the pan above it.
Once you begin to hear popping, make the lid slightly ajar so that steam can escape. When the popping stops, remove pan from the heat and pour the popcorn into a large bowl.
Pour the butter garlic and rosemary mixture over the popcorn and gently toss. Sprinkle the Parmesan and salt over the warm popcorn.
Now the drinks and snacks are sorted, all that's left is movie choice, never an easy one!
