Tempranillo & Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon - an Autumnal blend if ever there was one. The "Maudes" is a deep cherry colour with prominent legs. The nose bursts full of black forest fruits, currants and blackberries with a spicy toasty edge. The palate is round and long with firm, silky tannins. Best paired with rustic stews, game and red meat dishes. Great seasonal red wine!
