Pira’s vineyards in Cannubi, Cannubi San Lorenzo, and Via Nuova are planted on compact calcareous marl soils rich in limestone and clay. These soils promote water retention and freshness, yielding wines with supple tannins, high aromatic intensity, and early accessibility. Winter spur pruning and green harvesting reduce crop load.
