Weingut Tesch
"One of the most interesting domaines along the Nahe River," according to The Wine Advocate, Martin Tesch crafts delicious, dry, site-specific Riesling wines from estate vineyards, which offer extraordinary value for money.
Established in 1723 Weingut Tesch is one of Germany’s most exciting producers, creating delicious dry Riesling wine from five great sites in the Nahe. Turning his back on tradition, Dr. Martin Tesch, winemaker and owner, wanted to create great wines for a new generation of wine lovers. Simplicity and straightforwardness is how he describes his approach. The wines have a colour code and individual artwork on the label, establishing a clear identity for each. Only natural methods of controlling pests and disease are used, the grapes are hand-picked at a high degree of ripeness. Martin is also a big fan of rock music and the wines have a loyal following amongst some of the genres top artists.
