The nose is intensely perfumed, with lychee, gooseberry, grassy and rosehip notes all contributing. The flavour is similar; with an abundance of tropical fruits, lychees and passionfruit, swirling through the palate, highlighted by floral and grassy edges. The wine is fine and long, thanks to vibrant natural acidity, and with a mineral finish. Would easily contend with any its New Zealand cousins

Winemaking
Small batches of grapes are gently crushed, chilled and then pressed by a stainless steel press. Gentle extraction of the juice is critical to retain the delicate fruit characterstics. To add complexity and mouthfeel a small percentage of the wine is partially fermented in French oak for 2-3 weeks
