With lovely, summery notes of elderflower, pink grapefruit and orange blossom, this is a very appealing Gascony white. Sauvignon Blanc makes it reassuringly recognisable, while the authentic south-west French varieties, Colombard and Gros Manseng provide a distinctive sense of place, as well as rounding out the texture of the wine. In all, fresh and vibrant while satisfyingly complete and balanced.

The grapes were picked at night to prevent oxidation and retain freshness. The cooling influence of the Atlantic tempers Gascony's climate, and helps to provide a long, breezy ripening period perfect for aroma and acidity development.
