The story of Orin Swift Cellars dates back to 1995, when on a lark, David Swift Phinney travelled to Florence for a study semester and quickly fell in love with wine. Just three years later, Phinney started his own venture with just two tonnes of Zinfandel and an insatiable passion for his craft. What started as a tiny production project has now grown into an empire of wines distributed across the world, with Phinney establishing himself as one of the most influential and innovative winemakers in California.
