Joseph Drouhin
The Drouhin name is the archetype of a family producer. Founded in 1880, the 4th generation Drouhin family has become a benchmark producer and négociant within Burgundy. With vineyards stretching from Chablis all the way down to the Mâconnais, the family remains at the core of its values, with siblings Philippe Drouhin and Véronique Boss-Drouhin serving as the gatekeepers of Drouhin’s highly acclaimed style.
Philippe, the self proclaimed “man of the vines”, oversees each plot meticulously to ensure the grapes are grown to the highest standards. Véronique holds the keys to the cellar, responsible for oak barrel selection and for ensuring the wines are aged for the optimal period to achieve Drouhin’s signature style. Philippe and Véronique’s work ensures that their Great Grandfather, Joesph Drouhin’s, legacy continues to thrive in the present day.
