Bogle Limited Releases

I am really excited to announce that the Bogle family has supplied us with small quantities of their special, limited-release wines. I tasted them last week, and they again offer pure drinking pleasure. Last year's consignment sold out pretty quickly, so if you want some you'll need to respond soon.

If you enjoy the regular Chardonnay, you will absolutely love the Bogle Phantom Chardonnay - bigger, richer and bolder, yet with lovely balance and irresistibly moreish.

Juggernaut is the name of Bogle's small-production wines from particularly exceptional vineyards. The Hillside Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 is a fantastic reprise of the delicious 2019, and we've again been able to get hold of a few cases of the juicy, succulent Russian River Pinot Noir.

Phantom Chardonnay 2020
This is a wonderful Californian Chardonnay, with generous, dusky peach and pineapple tropical fruit notes, spiced with cinnamon and lebkuchen gingerbread. It is full, rich and rounded with more peaches on the palate, along with salted caramel and gooey coconut macaroon. A beautifully-balanced, comforting wine - like a big, warm hug. Supremely easy to love!

 Juggernaut Russian River Pinot Noir 2020

This is Pinot in an irresistibly easygoing Californian accent, yet with defined aromas and flavours of red cherries with hints of fragrant wood, cherry leaf and toasted coconut. Super-soft and succulent in texture, with juicy fruit, gentle acidity and soft tannin, this is effortlessly enjoyable.

Juggernaut Hillside Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Purple-black in colour, this has gorgeous scents of succulent, ripe black cherries and cream, with a hint of attractive leafy character. Intense and ripe, it's balanced by glorious freshness. Succulent, concentrated and with good texture and balance, it has supple tannins and nuances of savoury herbs and tobacco. This is immediately easy to enjoy, and there's nothing to stop you tucking into it immediately. However if you do want to stash away a few bottles, it will provide glorious drinking over the next 3-4 years.
