Wine Bottles on Shelf

Join us at the Taste of London

Laura on 21 Jun 2013

We are in Regent’s Park until this Sunday on stand W8 so come and see us. Bring an empty stomach though as the food and drink on show is stupendous. To prove my point, here is a picture of the braised beef cheek, grilled runner beans, lemon and baked potato foam by Alyn Williams at the Westbury, hungry now?

We’ll be serving the cracking Heartland Pinot Gris from Langhorne Creek in Australia. A truly food friendly white which has been the perfect accompaniment for food from the South Asian stalls and fuller bodied fish dishes.

Heartland Pinot Gris Langhorne Creek 2011

£11.88 reduced from £13.50 throughout June

Our red for the festival is the award winning Trinity Hill Syrah from Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Full of bold, creamy, bramble fruit and hints of spice this is one to take to the grilling stalls, try Gaucho out just round the corner.

Trinity Hill 'Hawkes Bay' Syrah 2011

£13.50

If that is not enough, we have invented a fresh, summery cocktail just for the event made from sparkling Moscato. It is a great alternative to Pimm's, lighter in alcohol and keeps you coming back for more. We could not make it quick enough on Thursday night. Fancy giving it a go yourself? You'll need a bottle of Moncucco:

Fontanafredda, Moscato d'Asti 'Moncucco'

£7.50 reduced from £8.95
