Umani Ronchi, Lacrima di Morro d'Alba 2011

I have found a new gem! This is why I love wine, you think you've started to know a lot about it and then bammmm. Something new, fun and exquisite.

This is a red from the Marche region of Italy with soft, floral fruit and a fruit driven finish. It's a lovely summer red and so easy to drink. It is made from a grape called Lacrima, which is only found in this small region of Italy, and translates at tear (hence the funky tear on the label). Well worth a try.
