Process
Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey is triple distilled for smoothness, triple blended with golden grain, full-flavoured malt, and rich pot still and finally triple cask matured using traditional refill, ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for depth of flavour.
People
Daniel E Williams is the creator of Tullamore D.E.W. He was a self-made man who worked his way up from a stable boy of the distillery to become the owner. Later his grandson, Desmond, followed his grandfather’s revolutionary and innovative footsteps.
Place
After 60 years of waiting, in September 2014 Tullamore D.E.W. resumed production with a new state of the art distillery in its ancestral home of Tullamore, Co Offaly in Ireland.
