On the nose, the Tequila boasts softly buttered agave, subtle whisky and oak. To taste, flavours of butter and caramel bloom. An easy sipping Cristalino, equally good for the likes of a Paloma.
Process
100% Blue Webber agave is slow-cooked for 48 hours, fermented using natural yeast for a further 60 hours, double distilled and rested for a year in American oak casks. It's then carefully filtered to become a Cristalino Tequila.
People
The spirit is made by master distiller Augustin Sanchez Rodriguez, but Tiempo Tequila is a London based brand, co-founded by James Hughston and Ryan Warner.
Place
The Tequila was made with 100% Blue Weber agave grown and harvested in the Altos and Valley regions of Jalisco. It is produced at Envasadora De Productos Lideres (NOM 1592).
