Process
Made with the same blend as Ron Colón Salvadoreño Rum. This expression then cold infuses bourbon coffee beans from El Salvador into the final blend.
People
Ron Colon’s story started in 2018 with two drinks industry friends, Thurman Wise and Pepijn Janssens traveled to El Salvador and were inspired to create a spirit that would reflect the country heritage.
Place
The name Ron Colón comes from the 19th century when President Carlos Ezeta decided that the Salvadoran peso should be called “Colón” after Christopher Columbus. They even pay homage to the old “Colónes” banknotes and currency on the bottle labels!
