Process
The inspiration for this accessible whisky is said to have come from advertising materials from the 1920s, within this material Haig is advertised as The Clubman’s Whisky” – this inspired the name today.
People
Haig was founded by John Haig in 1824, who had a firm belief in innovation and creativity. He established Cameronbridge distillery in which he installed state-of-the-art technology with continuous column stills, to deliver his innovative beliefs.
Place
Cameronbridge distillery is based in Fife, it was the first and is the largest grain distillery in Scotland. It works to a capacity of 136 million litres, with colossal 750-ton grain silos & huge stainless-steel stills facilitating the whisky making.
