Process
El Sueño uses fully matured, lowland and highland agave, which is cooked in traditional clay ovens and autoclaves. It's then mixed with other high quality fermentable sugars to make a mixto tequila.
People
El Sueño was founded by drink veterans Paul Hayes and Nav Grewal when, having worked with agave for more than 16 years in Mexico, they wanted to show that you could make a good quality Mixto at an affordable price.
Place
Just like its sister brand Vivir, El Sueño is made at Casa Maestri distillery – a fifth generation, family-run operation in Jalisco.
