Metaxa

In 1888, Spyros Metaxa and his brother Elias and Alexander built their first distillery in 1888 in Piraeus, the port of Athens. Today, Constantinos Raptis is the fifth master blender in the company's history. Metaxa 12 Stars Brandy is made in Greece. In 1968, the distillery and the Metaxa cellars were relocated to new facilities in Athens' northern suburb of Kifissia where they are based today.
